The beautiful movements of the students of the Carolina Ballet's summer school program, for which Barbara was accompanying, inspired her to think of healing and recovery as a "dance of hope" when she composed "Dancing into the Light".

Composed for the ACS fundraiser - 2007 "Symphony of Hope" concert, conducted by Maestra Dee Braxton-Pellegrino in Winterville, NC in honor of Barbara Gallagher's mother, a cancer survivor.
